Experience: 2-3 Years in Paddy Hybrid Seed ProductionQualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. Agriculture with 2-3 years experience in Paddy hybrid seed production.
Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Responsible for establishing and expanding production locations for hybrid as well as varietal seed production.
- Responsible for developing and implementing production strategies to meet the business plan.
- Responsible for planning to produce hybrid and varietal seeds as per sales demand, while controlling both fixed and variable costs.
- Responsible for coordination with growers and organizers to increase adoption of Savannah production practices, identify challenges and develop solutions.
- Ensure Transplanting as per protocol and in desired planting window.
- Ensuring Quality assurance including timely rouging.
- Thrashing, seed cleaning, bagging and seed dispatch as per protocol.
- Extending timely support to other departments activities.
- Ensuring recording and submission of data.
